Want to thank Joel and his team at J&C tree services for rescuing my cat. He was stuck on a 100ft tree for 2 days. Called many services without getting an answer or call. Joel called me back within 10 minutes. I told him of the situation and within an hour he came. His team was professional and knew what they were doing. My cat was stuck on a small thin branch so I did not expect him to even take the job. But, he looked at it and made a plan. His crew and him worked hard to get all their gear in place and ready. They were safe for sure and once everything was in place , Joel climbed up  and made it to where my cat was. The difficult part was that my cat was on a thin branch that he could not get on, so he got as close as he could and tried to entice my cat to go into the pet carrier I gave him with some treats. He was very patient trying to get my cat into the cage. Took 20 minutes to get him in and finally, saved my cat. All this took 1 hour which totally amazed me. Now, cat is safe at home eating , drinking and telling me all about his ordeal. I would recommend Joel and his company for any job that has to do with trees. From the get go I was impressed by his candid assessment and explanation of what was required for our tree. His crew is extremely courteous and they all work hard. Joel was my savior on Canada Day, when a huge limb broke on my Manitoba Maple and was hanging precariously over my neighbours' yards. It was a very difficult job as there was no street access, and there were all kinds of cables etc. right below. Also, it was 6:00 pm and almost no-one was answering their "emergency tree service" phones, and only a few would come that evening.  Joel drove an hour to look at it, told me he could deal with it first thing next day, and gave me a quote less than half of the guy who came before him. He came right on sched next day, was up in the tree for about five hours, and managed to get the broken limb, plus the huge limb it cracked and was perched on, down, with absolutely no damage to anything. We had Joel and team prune a large tree in our backyard and trim our hedges - they did a great job. He was also able to fit us in quickly, which we really appreciated. The tree looks so much better, they opened up the canopy without over-pruning it, and the hedges were cleaned up beautifully. The yard was left spotless as well with all the beaches removed.
